8 Keys to Living Your Best Life
1. Living in Balance
I remember the frantic life that I lived and today I notice it in close friends, acquaintances and people in general. I can just look at their faces, feel their energy and know they are working way too much and too hard. We all need to slow down to notice and appreciate the present.
2. Spiritual Practice
I know for sure that a higher power than ourselves exists in the Universe. A belief system or spiritual practice in knowing that you are not alone and that you are always surrounded by love is one key to happy living.
3. Love and Forgiveness
Living life from a place of love and forgiveness gives us freedom of fear.
Accepting who you are and knowing you are deserving of love is my first key to living fully. Treating your body with love, healthy nutrition and a balanced healthy exercise regimen. “I am imperfect and I am enough.”
Appreciation and Living in the Present. Living in gratitude creates appreciation of what we have now and allows us to live in the present moment instead of living with fear of not having enough. A wonderful gift of freedom to give yourself!
6. Letting go of attachment to outcomes
When we allow ourselves to be open to outcomes and free ourselves from expectations, we more easily live without disappointment, dis-satisfaction of how life is supposed to be.
7. Mind/Body Awareness
I believe that the better you can connect with your body, the better you can make intuitive life decisions. I see trusting your Body Compass connection as an overarching practice in living healthy. The power of creative visualization is remarkable and can take dreams from your head and turn them into reality.
Don’t ever give up on what you want. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you are not going to make it. Overcoming any life challenges, trauma makes you stronger than you can ever imagine. You can do it!
